Il Bioparco piemontese è catalyser italiano della rete europea EIT HEALTH per supportare le imprese innovative nel settore della Salute
E’ diventata effettiva la collaborazione tra Bioindustry Park Silvano Fumero SpA SB, unico catalizzatore Italiano nel programma Bridgehead della Rete EIT Health rivolto a start-up e scale-up europee del settore medicale, e Heuristik start-up spagnola nata nel 2018 con l’obiettivo di offrire agli ospedali la possibilità di gestire in modo completo le informazioni sui pazienti durante l’intero percorso di cura, migliorando i processi logistici interni e la gestione amministrativa, nonché di evitare azioni fraudolente nell’accoglienza e errori nella prescrizione dei medicinali.
Heuristik offre un software per identificare e gestire i pazienti combinando impronte digitali e Ai. Utilizzando la soluzione di Heuristik, le entità sanitarie possono identificare il paziente durante l’intero percorso della scansione dell’impronta digitale e ottenere statistiche in tempo reale per evitare colli di bottiglia.
Bioindustry Park accompagnerà la start-up spagnola nell’accesso al mercato italiano, favorendo il contatto con ospedali e attori del Sistema Sanitario Italiano, con l’obiettivo di far conoscere il prodotto ed inserirlo in progetti pilota per la validazione e l’implementazione della soluzione a livello Europeo.
Heuristik è una delle 20 start-up individuate dal programma per accedere alla rete di ecosistemi locali di qualità, i cosiddetti catalizzatori, che comprendono acceleratori, incubatori e cluster con una vasta conoscenza ed esperienza nei rispettivi sistemi sanitari locali, quadri normativi e dinamiche di mercato.
Legata al Bioparco piemontese anche la torinese Morecognition – socia del Polo d’innovazione bioPmed e aderente a “ReadytoStartUP” il programma di accelerazione customizzato di Bioindustry Park – la start-up italiana selezionata dal programma Bridgehead e in fase di abbinamento a un catalyser europeo della rete EIT HEALTH.
Morecognition è nata nel 2017 nell’ambito Digital Health e ha sviluppato Remo un rivoluzionario modello di trattamento digitale basato su un dispositivo medico che misura l’attività muscolare e, utilizzando l’intelligenza artificiale, permette ai pazienti di eseguire a casa gli esercizi prescritti dal terapista. Una soluzione personalizzabile, indossabile e semplice da utilizzare da parte del paziente.
Bioindustry Park a partner in the spanish startup Heuristik
The Piedmont-based Bio-park is the Italian catalyser of the European network EIT HEALTH devoted to supporting innovation in the health sector
The partnership between Bioindustry Park, the only Italian catalyst in the Bridgehead program of the EIT Health network dedicated to European start-ups and scale-ups in the medical sector, and the Spanish start-up Heuristik has taken off. Heuristik originated in 2018 with the goal of offering hospitals the possibility of globally managing patient information throughout the entire course of healing, improving internal logistic processes and administrative management, and avoiding fraudulent hospitality policies or prescription errors. Heuristik offers software for identifying and managing patients that combines fingerprints and AI. Utilising the Heuristik solution, health organisations can identify patients during the entire process by scanning their fingerprints and obtaining statistics in real time to avoid small inconveniences that add up and can cause the whole system to slow down.
Bioindustry Park will be an important partner in helping the Spanish start-up access to the Italian market, ensuring contact with hospitals and important players in the Italian Healthcare System, with the goal of spreading awareness about the product and launching pilot projects in order to validate and implement this solution at the European level.
Heuristik is one of the 20 essential start-ups identified by the program for accessing the network of local high-standard ecosystems of accelerators, incubators, and cluster groups with vast knowledge and experience in their respective local healthcare systems, legal frameworks, and market dynamics.
Also working with the Piedmontese Park is the Turin-based Morecognition – partner of the bioPmed, the Piedmont Health Innovation Cluster and a participant in the “ReadytoStartUP”, the customized acceleration program of Bioindustry park . This Italian start-up has been selected by the Bridgehead program and in the process of being combined with a European catalyser of EIT HEALTH network.
Morecognition began in 2017 in the field of Digital Health and developed Remo, a revolutionary model for digital treatment based on a medical device that measures muscular activity and allows patients to do exercises prescribed by their therapist at home with the help of artificial intelligence. It is a highly customisable, wearable solution that is easy for patients use.
