the initiative within Meet in Italy for Life Sciences 2021 – MIT4LS2021 event dedicated to life sciences innovative startups and emerging companies. MIT4LS2021 is the leading international networking opportunity event in the life sciences sector in Italy. The 2021, seventh edition, will be held in Genova (Italy), 29 September -1 October, at Magazzini del Cotone.

Thanks to an extensive network of partners (more than 30 investment funds, innovation centers, incubators, accelerators and other life sciences organisations) SUB2021 provides several opportunities for the startups that will be selected by the evaluation committee of experts and specialised investors.
SUB2021 finalists will have the opportunity to benefit from a tailor-made journey diving into seminars and coaching sessions with life sciences experts and mentors, who will help them in refining and fully exploiting their business potential, in view of the initiative final event, the Atlantis Pitching Arena 2021, 1st of October in Genova. At the Arena, finalists will present their pitches in front of an international audience of investors and life science professionals.

Applications selection will be done based on:
- Team experience and skills
- Proposed solution and context description (clarity and scientific/technical soundness)
- Market potential
- Marketing strategy and competitors mapping
- Revenue stream and financials credibility
- Quality of the attached pitch

No geographical restriction applies. Minimum required TRL for the proposed solution in the application is 3; 4 or more preferred.
Applications must be submitted in English. All the material submitted will be considered non-confidential.
